JKB Cakes is a retail business, owned and operated by Jerome and Kris Blondel.     We are a small family business located at 16210 Aberdeen Street Ham Lake, Minnesota 55304.  We have become known by our cakes made from "scratch" and our light buttercream icing made with "real" butter.     We come from very different backgrounds, but have grown together in very similar ways.     Jerome was born and raised in Normandie, France.  He moved  to the United States and has followed in his fathers footsteps as a second generation pastry chef.     Kris was born and raised right here in Coon Rapids, Minnesota and is a 1987 graduate of Blaine High School.     After both attending and graduating Dunwoody Baking Institute in 1989, we had a dream in the back of our minds that wanted to be filled. After dreaming about this for 9 years, our dream finally was established on October 22nd, 1998. After 5 years of business,  "We Just Keep Baking Cakes," and our dream has become very fulfilled through all of our past, present, and future customers.                                                    Jerome and Kris
